Since graduating in 2006, I've been working as a professional design nerd in the publishing industry. I always wanted to work in children's books and have been lucky enough to design for Walker Books, Dorling Kindersley, Hachette and Bloomsbury. 

 

I love sinking my teeth into gritty YA, stories for younger kids, illustrated fiction and anything in between. A blank canvas doesn't scare me, I see it as a wonderful challenge.

 

I write books, too, and my debut YA novel, Drop, is published by Walker Books and was nominated for the Carnegie Medal.
